We have undertaken restoration, adaptation, and extensions to listed buildings on a Design and Build basis. Similar work has also been completed with Architect supervision.
In working on old buildings we try to define the original structure and the methods of construction. Understanding this and the reason for alterations over the years, will lead to successful restoration.
Work undertaken has involved: Ashlar and rubble walling: Green Oak structures: Repairs to joinery with minimum loss of original material: Lime based mortar and plaster: Lime wash finishes: Lead work: Stone and clay roof tiling: Thatching.
